Solidarity pot in Mother Alberta.

In July, thanks to the recurring and extraordinary contributions of our allies, we began the construction and provision of the kitchen area at the “Mother Alberta Giménez School of Fe y Alegría”, located in Cumaná, Sucre State, counting like this with a conditioned and ample space for the preparation of breakfasts and lunches, benefiting 1,645 students and 140 teachers, who will have for the first time a nutritional plan in the school.

Faced with this great challenge, we created the “Solidarity Pot in Mother Alberta” campaign where each donation will impact on the sustainability of the food safety program, guaranteeing the purchase of food supplies and paying for the different operating expenses.

As part of the achievements for this new school year, ALSI Foundation, in the hands of our donors, granted a special contribution in favor of the Jesús Obrero Technical Institute located in Catia, for the remodeling of the kitchen area and the acquisition of new equipment and implements with the projection of expanding the number of beneficiaries from 188 to 400 beneficiaries – including children and staff – who will have lunch at their school every day.

This next Thursday, November 21, we will celebrate our “II ALSI Foundation Golf Open Golf Tournament” for the benefit of the Nutritional Program at Alberta-Fe y Alegría Mother School. This is the most important fundraising event we hold during the year and we hope to count on your participation!
